The supply is usually the critical path
The supply sets the program: a larger service, new consumer mains, a main switchboard, metering and the network approvals. Thorntek holds Level 2 ASP 4869 with both Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy across all four classes and completes all of it, so the whole job sits with one contractor.
Delivered: 200A services and main switchboards across commercial sites at Marrickville, Haberfield and Alexandria, including a multi tenancy building completed in one planned Saturday night shutdown under traffic control.
Planned shutdowns, not open ended outages
Changeovers are planned around your hours and completed within the agreed window, with larger supplies kept running on a backup generator. Multi tenancy shutdowns are coordinated across every tenancy under one program and one price.

Yes: lighting, machinery power, distribution boards, general power and tenancy fitouts, plus testing and tagging, thermal imaging and preventative maintenance.
Can you power new machinery or plant?
Yes, single and 3 phase circuits with protection sized to the equipment. We confirm the existing supply will carry the new load before anything is ordered.
Can you upgrade the supply to a warehouse or industrial unit?
Yes: new service, larger consumer mains, a new main switchboard and metering, under our own Level 2 ASP accreditation with Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy, with no second contractor.
Do you work around our operating hours?
Yes, commercial changeovers are planned shutdowns. We have completed 200A switchboard and overhead mains replacements across a multi tenancy site in one Saturday night shutdown under traffic control.
What size supply can you provide?
We regularly deliver 200A services and main switchboards on commercial sites, with CT metering provisions where required. Send us the load and we will advise.
Can you keep us operating while the work is carried out?
On larger supplies, yes: the site runs on a backup generator during the changeover, planned into the quote.
