The supply is part of the package
Most grounds need a new service, a larger board, metering and network approvals. Thorntek is a Level 2 ASP with both Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy across all four classes, so the crew installing the lighting also completes the supply, metering and network paperwork under one program.

Boards built for the outdoors
We build outdoor boards for weather and sun, with custom 316 stainless steel weatherproof enclosures where the site warrants it, sized for what is installed now and what may be added later.

Do you install sports lighting for councils?
Yes, mostly as council and head contractor work within park or facility upgrades. We build to the issued design from footings to energising; send the drawings and scope for a price.
What is involved in a floodlighting installation?
Footings and poles, underground conduit and cabling to the board, the switchboard, luminaires, aiming and commissioning, staged around a ground that stays in use. We quote the complete package.
How high are the poles?
The issued design sets the height and we install to it. In the same year we installed six 12 metre floodlight poles over netball courts and 6 metre poles through a public park.
Do you supply the switchboards as well?
Yes, built for outdoor installation, including custom 316 stainless steel weatherproof boards, with the metering and network connection completed under our own ASP accreditation.
Can you work around the season?
